"Truth, Righteousness, and Kingdom Power!"
"Truth, Righteousness, and Kingdom Power!"
Blessed is the man who shall not walk in the counsel of the wrong, and shall not stand in the path of sinners, but his delight is in the law of Adonai, and he meditates in His law day and night.
The person who lives with good conscience is not deceitful. He does not hide his actions, because he knows that he has not purposefully done wrong. The truth will always support such a person, and such a person is always making the truth manifest knowledge.
Not everyone is such an honest, well-meaning person!
Everyone who is practising evil matters hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But the one doing truth comes to the light, so that his works are clearly seen, that they have been done in harmony with God.
God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and we walk in the darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth.
There is nothing hidden from the eyes of God.
If our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all. If our heart does not condemn us, we have boldness toward God.
When Jesus began His ministry, his audience remarked at how He spoke with authority - such authority that the Pharisees and scribes could not demonstrate! The early disciples spoke with authority in God's name too.
The ability to speak with authority in God's name, is by righteousness: maintaining a state of good conscience, being pure of heart to keep doing what we know is right - and being confident that this is true, even in the sight of God.
Unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.
You shall be brought before sovereigns and rulers for my name's sake, and it will turn out to be a witness for you. Therefore, resolve in your hearts not to premeditate on what to answer. For I shall give you a mouth and wisdom that all your adversaries shall not be able to refute or resist.
Greater is he that is in you, than he who is in the world.
He who remains in love remains in God, for God is love.
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall prove wrong. This is the inheritance of the servants of Adonai, and their righteousness is from me", declares Adonai.
Be confident of your righteous standing according to the truth, and trust in Him of whom you testify.
The fool says in his heart "there is no God". They have done corruptly, they have done an abominable deed, there is none that does good.
Having so great a cloud of witnesses all around us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race set before us.
For the reign of God is not in speech, but in power.
Jesus warns on several occasions that the end will come as a thief - we are told to keep our lamps full of oil, to keep our garments clean, to be found doing His business on the day of visitation, and that even as in Noah's day the people were feasting and drinking until the rains began.
Do not be led astray, "Evil company corrupts good habits".
Wake up to soberness, righteously, and do not sin. I speak this to your shame.
